How many players are required?
Exactly three players are required: one Blind Monkey, one Deaf Monkey and one Mute Monkey.
When did BOMBANANA! release?
The Steam store lists September 2, 2026 as the full release date.
Which platforms are confirmed?
Steam covers Windows and macOS and Steam Deck compatibility is Verified. The official Roblox version is live from publisher TARK Games and includes a 2-player mode. PS5 is announced with no date, Xbox and Switch have no confirmed release, and the developer says a console version is planned.
How much does it cost?
Steam showed a US$7.99 standard price on September 19, 2026, with no active discount; the US$4.95 launch offer ended on September 9, and regional prices vary.
Can I play solo?
Every run still needs three players, one for each asymmetric role. The v1.0.2 update on 10 September 2026 added matchmaking, so you can queue alone and be placed with others. You can also browse public rooms in the server list or join with a room code, without adding anyone on Steam first.
Do I need a microphone?
Two of the three roles need a microphone. Mute Monkey is not allowed to speak, so playing that role does not need one.
Is the demo coming back?
The separate Steam demo listing is gone. The developer says it will reassess whether the demo can return once launch work settles, with no timeline given.
