BOMBANANA! Release Date and Platforms

Start with the short version. As of 19 September 2026, the full BOMBANANA! release is on Steam, launched on 2 September 2026 for Windows and macOS, with Steam Deck compatibility marked Verified. The official Roblox adaptation is already playable and includes a 2-player mode. Mobile is still in development according to the developer. PS5 has a PlayStation page marked as announced with no date, and there are no confirmed Xbox or Switch releases. Check those points first, then look up your local price on the store page.

Release versions and the demo

The full game is this Steam listing, developed by Lefto Studio and published by TARK. Steam used to carry a separate demo app (4747510). It is gone now, and a store search for BOMBANANA only returns the full game.

One thing worth being clear about: the demo’s level numbering, module count and balancing are not a promise about the full release. The developer said they will reassess bringing the demo back once launch work settles, but gave no timeline. So do not treat “it is coming back” as settled.

Other versions the developer has announced

There is more than the Steam release. Some of these are already live, some are still in progress. They are not the same product as the Steam version, and the mechanics or player-count rules can differ:

• Roblox version: already live. BOMBANANA! on Roblox (game ID 93467044568807) is published by TARK Games and developed by FXFX Studio in partnership with the original team. The official description calls it “the official Roblox adaptation of BOMBANANA!”. This version currently offers a 2-player mode. So “can you play with two people” has different answers on Roblox and on Steam.
• Mobile: in development. The developer’s official FAQ states that a mobile version is in development, but as of 19 September 2026 there is no official mobile download. Third-party cloud-phone or streaming services are not the official mobile version.
• Console: planned. The official FAQ says they plan to come to console in the near future. No platforms and no dates are named.
• Linux: unconfirmed. The official FAQ lists the platforms as “PC, Steam Deck, Mac & Linux”, but the Steam store page currently shows only Windows and macOS icons. Until the store page or an official announcement lists it, do not treat Linux as supported.

Price

Checking Steam on 19 September 2026, the standard price was US$7.99 with no active discount. The launch offer of US$4.95 ended on 9 September 2026.

The store page now also offers joint bundles such as DUMBANANA!. Before you buy, check whether you are getting the single game or a bundle. Regional pricing, currency and promotions change, so the checkout amount on your local Steam page is what counts.

Before you buy

Confirm you are on full game listing 4656000, then compare the system requirements and your local price. Do not use price history, search snippets or video titles to decide platform support. PS5, Xbox and Switch only count as confirmed once an official store page, developer or publisher announcement lists them.
